Changing the name of a YouTube channel is very easy. Do the following steps:
- Open YouTube Studio – studio.youtube.com
- Select Customisation from the margin on the bottom left-hand side of the margin.
- On the Channel Customisation page, select Basic Info and select the “pencil” next to your channel’s current name.
- Type in your new channel name.
- Select Publish to accept your new channel name.

Steps to Change Your YouTube Channel Name

Open YouTube Studio

Go to https://studio.youtube.com/ and log in to your Google account which has the YouTube channel that you wish to change the name.

In the left-hand margin, select Customisation (1).

Edit Channel Current Name

In Channel Customisation, select the (1) Basic Info tab, and then (2) select the pencil next to the current YouTube channel name to edit it.

Type in New Channel Name

Type in the new YouTube channel name into the field.

Publish New Name

Once you have typed in the new YouTube channel name, select Publish on the right-hand side of the browser.

Once you publish the changes it will take you back to your YouTube Studion home view. Verify that the channel name is correct and spelt how you want it to be.
